June is over

This was a very special month. My lifestyle kind of changed by 180°. Well, can you imagine that Jana The Slacker passed two state exams in a month? Na starý kolena je ze mě šprtka. And without canceling, postponing or running for neschopenka! Unbelievable.
And my personal life is suddenly much more interesting than just going for a coffee with my girls. Yay!

Hayastan, here I come

Those who know me a bit better have noticed how much I miss Armenia. I blogged about it many times already (e.g. here). This is my last real holiday so I decided to go back. Finally I have time AND money to do so. This summer will not be about discovering new places or living another adventure. This summer I'm going back home. Or at least that's how it feels. No other place in the world made me feel this way. It's all about the people. And "Welcome back girl" was the nicest thing I've heard in a long time.
The flight ticket is paid, insurance is arranged and accommodation is almost ready. July 5th - 24th I will be in Yerevan, the place where I was called "Solnitchka" for the first time. I'm happy.

Life's good

In case you wonder ... I'm doing fine. Right now I feel I have it all: studies are going well, I have a job but don't have to work yet, personal life is fun and I'm planning a trip back to Yerevan, Armenia. No need to ask for more.

My last post about Economics

Never ever before in my life have I been so sure that I failed the exam. Well, whatever ... I don't know how, I don't know why, but I passed. And not just passed, but passed "very well". I was so shocked that I'm posting this a day later because yesterday I could not believe it.
The worst part is over. Compared to Economics, the next exam in two weeks will be a piece of cake :)

Early bird catches the worm

The advantage of having exams in winter is that there are no birds screaming singing at 4 a.m. So in case you wake up in the middle of the night you just turn on the other side and fall asleep again. Today it was impossible. First I tried to enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature. Then I wanted to persuade myself that it is actually very calming sound, something like the water fountain. Then I gave up the lost battle and went to watch TV. I'll need a lot of caffeine.

Lesson learned: next time I will close the window when I go to sleep before the exam.

Another post about Economics

I just found out that I didn't have to read 79/360 pages of one of the books. Ouch. So much time wasted. I suck. Exam on Tuesday. I didn't fail a real exam since July 2005. I guess it's about time to get my ass kicked again.

Lesson learned: next time I will scroll down the page and READ what's written there. Even the info I think I know.
