According to the research of public opinion held in September, 29% of Czechs trust the church as an institution. 50% don't trust and the rest don't know/don't care. For comparison the results of other institutions are following: 61% trust the army, 47% police, 33% labour unions. From all the institutions tracked in the research, church is the least trustworthy for Czechs :) LOL, even the labour unions are more popular here.
Well, what more to say? It is hard to trust an institution that is associated with manipulation, persecution and corruption since at least 14th century in this country. This is a cultural thing ;)

I disagree. Religion has caused too many wars. In 11-13th centuries Crusaders were terrorizing the world, nowadays the same is done by muslim extremists. If religion was good, it would not teach people to kill their brothers. Lost are the nations that take it too seriously.
