Horse rider statues

One of the things I love about Yerevan is the number of all different kind of monuments and statues there. I especially appreciate the creativity used for horse riders. These statues are usually more or less boring for me. Just some fat guy sitting on a horse. Something like this (Marshal Bagramyan in front of the American University in Armenia):


But check the others. See the dynamics, the horse tails in the wind, the courage of these brave men who don't need to hold themselves on a jumping horse. (One of them is actually riding two jumping horses if you look carefully.) These are the real tributes to the heroes of the past.




BTW I am back in the Czech Republic.
